A Computer Crash with Registry Cleaner

Probably one of the dreadful things everyone wishes not to experience is ? a computer crash.? Unfortunately, no one is exempted from it.? Some possible reasons for a computer crash are:

?

  • Stubborn computer viruses
  • Presence of malwares
  • Problems with drivers
  • Exhausted memory or storage capacity

?

When you find yourself a victim of this catastrophe, bear in mind that you can always manage to overcome and survive it.? Panicking is never going to help.? So clear your head and follow these steps.

?

Step 1: Reboot your computer.? There are several ways to reboot.

?

Reboot option 1: The Ctrl+Alt+Delete method.? If your keyboard is still responsive, press the Ctrl, Alt and Delete keys simultaneously until your computer automatically restarts.

Though you might lose some unsaved data in rebooting, this is probably the safest way to reboot an operating system since it doesn?t inflict much damage on the Windows registry values or software.

?

Reboot option 2: The power button method.? Press down the power button for 5 seconds, then the computer will automatically shutdown.? To restart, simply press the power button again, like you normally do.? Although, this can be a little risky since it may cause some problems on your software, on the operating system itself or to the Windows registry values.

?

Reboot option 3: The power source method.? Simply detach your computer from its main power source, meaning unplug it.? As much as possible avoid this in rebooting your computers.? When a computer suddenly loses power, files may get corrupted and the hard disk may be harmed.

?

Step 2: Startup Windows.? There are also several ways to restore your processor.

?

Startup option 1:? The ?start Windows normally? option.? After a successful reboot, press the F8 key and select ?start Windows normally? from the list of choices.? If the extent of the system crash is reparable, then you?re good.

?

Startup option 2:? The ?Last Known Good Configuration? option.? If starting Windows normally doesn?t work, then the ?Last Known Good Configuration? option is your next best hope.? Press the F8 key again.? In the Advanced Boot Options screen, select Last Known Good Configuration.? With this, Windows will startup using the systems and settings on the Windows registry that worked fine the last time you used it.

?

Startup option 3: The ?safe mode? option.

Again, press the F8 key and in the Boot menu options, select ?Safe Mode?.? Booting up using the safe mode allows you to use a minimal set of device drivers and services to restore Windows.? While in this mode, you can access the internet to check for the causes of the crash and you can also restore system settings with the ?system restore? function.? This function will restore your computer through the last correct Window registry settings it used.? Don?t worry, because this will not modify, delete or affect your personal files.

?

These are the standard steps available for anyone to recover from a computer crash.? But if you have exhausted all other basic troubleshooting options, you probably have to let the experts handle it. You can have a technician come over to your house or you can bring your computer to a service center for more accurate diagnostics and effective solutions.

?

While it is comforting to know that there are solutions to computer crashes, it is still much better if you don?t have to experience this at all.? So, it would be to your advantage if you familiarize yourself with some preventive measures.? One simple preventive measure is cleaning up the Windows registry with a registry cleaner software.? This is easy to do since several registry cleaner software are accessible for download from the internet.

?

You can download a top-of-the-line registry cleaner software here.? They will give you a free computer scan and they will clean your computer in as fast as 2 minutes.
